Polyethylene (PE) : It features high hardness, wear resistance, scratch resistance, and high resistivity. It also has excellent electrical insulation and processing properties. Therefore, when cables are exposed to the air, such as in tunnels or Bridges where flame retardancy is required, we recommend using polyvinyl chloride sheathed cables.
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) : The sheath itself has self-extinguishing properties, excellent flame retardant effect, low cost and good flexibility. Therefore, when cables are laid in conduits, directly buried underground, filled with sand in cable trenches, or when the groundwater level is high and they are constantly submerged, we recommend choosing polyethylene sheathed cables!
